Esta pol\u00edtica evita claramente cualquier tipo de sobretratamiento en pacientes con tumores que podr\u00edan remitir espont\u00e1neamente y desalentar el tratamiento en pacientes estables y paucisintom\u00e1ticos.<sup>3<\/sup><\/p><p>Los pacientes con tumores desmoides recidivantes deben considerarse para el tratamiento activo en caso de presentar s\u00edntomas, progresi\u00f3n continuada o si se localizan en lugares anat\u00f3micos en los que una progresi\u00f3n adicional podr\u00eda causar una morbilidad significativa o ser potencialmente mortal.<sup>3<\/sup><\/p><p>Es imprescindible seleccionar cuidadosamente la estrategia de tratamiento para optimizar el control tumoral y mejorar la calidad de vida. progresan.<sup>1<\/sup> Adem\u00e1s, se utilizan otros tratamientos sist\u00e9micos en pacientes con tumores irresecables sintom\u00e1ticos o de crecimiento r\u00e1pido o en pacientes con enfermedad avanzada, aunque la evidencia proviene principalmente de estudios no aleatorizados:<sup>2,4,5<\/sup><\/p><ul><li>Quimioterapia en dosis bajas<\/li><li>Quimioterapia convencional<\/li><li>Inhibidores de la tirosina quinasa (sorafenib, imatinib, pazopanib, sunitinib)<\/li><li>Inhibidor de la \u03b3-secretasa<\/li><\/ul><p>Los tratamientos antihormonales, como tamoxifeno y toremifeno, tambi\u00e9n
